What types of equipment will be used for this internet service?
Our typical installs consist of a mount and pole that is fixed to a structure to support a small radio dish. An ethernet cable is then ran inside to a power injector and connected to a router that produces the Wi-Fi.
How do I start service?
Please either give us a call or submit your contact information directly thru our website. We will then reach out directly to you to identify your internet needs and conduct a FREE check for Line of Site of our service. We verify Line of Service by physically checking at the location and using a variety of software programs to verify a variety of service and equipment metrics.
Who will install the equipment?
We will schedule an install time and date with you for our technicians to install the equipment and setup the service.
What is bandwidth?
Bandwidth in regards to internet, refers to how much data we can send and/or receive thru a connection to the internet at a given time.
What speeds are available in my area?
We offer a range of speeds to accommodate the needs of all types of internet users and family sizes. Even if you determine your preferred internet plan before speaking to a salesperson, you should still ask about different plan options. Internet plans often vary based on location and there could be other options available that you are not aware of.
What uses the internet?
Anything connected to your local connection will use some bandwidth. Devices like security cameras, smart light bulbs, Apps, IoT devices like washer/dryer, printer, thermostat etc…. In a general sense, every device that is connected to your local network will traditionally use some bandwidth and some devices much more than others.
How do I know what speed I need?
Internet plans are designed to accommodate certain needs, so when you are asking about speed options, ask what each speed is best for and what would be recommended for your needs. 1 to 20 Mbps for basic usage and movie streaming. 20 to 40 Mbps for working from home and/or gaming for one to three users. 100 Mbps for working from home and/or gaming for two to five users. 500 Mbps and higher for a full house (five or more users) working from home, gaming, 4K streaming and using smart home devices. Additional upload speeds or symmetric upload/download speeds may also be needed depending on what your needs may be.
What is the maximum upload and download speeds I can get with the packages you offer?
Our speeds are clearly labeled on each speed package and included in the Broadband Nutrition Label for each package.
Am I locked into a plan, or can I change it if I find a different one will meet my needs better?
You are not locked into any speed plan permanently. If another speed package is better suited for your needs, you are easily able to change speed packages without additional fees only the difference in package prices. You can even trial a speed plan to see if that works for you.
Do I have to rent a router or can I bring my own?
You can certainly bring your own router; however, you will be responsible for updating and resolving internal problems that might arise. We do highly suggest that you lease a router from us so we can remotely resolve issues that might be occurring with the router much faster without a service call being necessary.
Are there data limits? If there are, what is the penalty or fees for going over?
Our service does not have any data limitations on it, it is truly unlimited. You are just paying for the download/upload speeds.
What type of internet services do you offer?
Residential internet offers a much higher download speed over upload to accommodate streaming movies, gaming, checking emails and regular usage. Business internet offers symmetrical download/upload speed to accommodate sending data to/from work server, VOIP phones, possible static IP address and other business needs. Special event packages offer specialized installs and speeds for events ranging from rodeos, festivals, community gatherings, RV parks, multi-dwelling units and more.
Are there price increases? If so, by how much and when?
While we do offer periodic promotions and specials, we have continually been committed to periodic speed increase for free. As we continue to get better pricing on our core connections, we pass those savings right on down to the customer. Offering higher speeds at the same price.
Is there a contract?
Yes, we do offer multiple contracts, no deposits required. Month-to-month offers our customers the freedom to turn off/on their internet service without additional fees. This contract is very advantageous for our seasonal customers or customers that do not want to be locked into a contract. 2-year contract offers a mid-point between the other contracts for better freedom of choice. 3-year contract offers the biggest discount of all the contracts to our customers for a 3-year commitment.
What additional fees can I expect?
All our fees are clearly outlined on our website for clarification and understanding of true service costs. While sometimes this can get confusing to understand true service costs, our Broadband Nutrition labels are also included to help provide a better understanding of what to expect for service costs. Initial contract fee. Speed package fee. Monthly lease of router or additional service equipment. Early cancellation fee, Service Call or overdraft fee. Minus any discounts. Any government taxes depending on location.
How many users can the network securely protect? Is there a cap on the maximum users?
While we do not specifically have a cap on the maximum number of users or devices a customer is able to have. Having a very large number of devices can have a direct impact on your network and factors how everything comes together properly. This is why it is crucial that our technicians truly understand your internet needs to help guide your setup so everything works efficiently and effectively.
Do you have multiple options for WIFI coverage?
Yes, we have a variety of wireless device solutions that can be used independently or meshed with other devices to expand coverage over large areas or help mitigate challenging locations.
What is throttling?
Throttling is when an ISP deliberately restricts and limits internet speeds and services without telling the customer to enforce data limits and potentially reduce congestion.
Do you throttle my speeds?
While we do have internal bandwidth limits that set the maximum download/upload of your speed package. We do not throttle your speeds down once you hit a specific data limitation.

Unfortunately, occasional Internet issues are inevitable. When they do happen, please give our office a call to get immediate support as quickly as possible.
